We offer a variety of teeth whitening treatments. The two main treatment types are a one-hour, in-office tooth whitening session and an at-home treatment using a teeth-whitening kit.

The one-hour in-office session involves applying a gel to your teeth as well as a blue light and a mild heat using advanced equipment (pictured to the right), all while you are in the dental chair. The gel, along with the light and heat, works to remove discolouration from your teeth and leave them whiter than ever.

The at-home treatment involves providing you with a plastic tray moulded to your teeth as well as a take-home gel. The gel is applied to the trays and the trays are worn for a few hours a day (or overnight) until the desired whiteness is achieved (usually in around 1-2 weeks).

Tooth-discolouration occurs for a variety of reasons. It can be caused by the things we eat and drink (eg coffee, tea, red wine). It is part of the aging process. It can be caused by smoking, medications, or due to genetic or other environmental factors. Some other treatment may be necessary to supplement regular whitening procedures.
